| Role: Program Manager / Project Manager Experience: 15 Years Hybrid mode (3-4 days/week) with the client manager. Location: Princeton, NJ Responsibilities: Actively create and maintain the culture within teams based on the organizational and Agile leadership behaviors Facilitate stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies Ensure that the backlog is refined and prioritized in line with business priorities and outcomes are articulated and demonstrated to stakeholders Support teams to remove impediments, manage dependencies, and build effective relationships with other teams Monitor team performance through the teams, delivery boards, and metrics dashboards whilst facilitating continuous improvement initiatives that will allow the team to work smarter, and more effectively Provide constructive feedback to team members to help drive Agile maturity Assist the Product Owner to manage and prioritize work through the backlog Review and monitor work items to ensure that status is accurate and updated as appropriate Maintain and update metrics and artifacts to ensure work status is transparent to the Product Owner and other stakeholders and business outcomes are clearly demonstrated Develop and maintain strong relationships with external teams that form part of end-to-end delivery Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and best practices Drive planning, project management and execution for product releases and roadmaps Drive consensus and add value on technical decisions and engineering practices are followed as defined by published standards and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to help deliver high quality results Provide leadership, management and drive the execution of sub-work stream initiatives within the overall Alpha Platform workstreams Drive execution through stringent project management and close attention to detail of sub-streams in the overall Alpha workstream Solution impediments with stakeholders, drive project progress, escalate risks, issues, and solutions Implement project changes and interventions to achieve program goals Provide feedback to internal team regarding progress Education and Experience: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of overall experience Scrum Master experience in an enterprise cloud environment Scrum Master certification PMP Certification and/or consulting experience a plus Azure certifications a plus Required Skills: Experience working with architecture, product, and/or engineering teams in a large-scale cloud environment Experience working with Agile teams and employing Agile practices effectively within a cloud governance and infrastructure focused environment Proficiency facilitating meetings to ensure they are solutions-focused Experience helping Agile teams to establish and adhere to norms and practices Ability to collaborate with team members on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to finding creative ways of working Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational hierarchy Excellent communication / interpersonal skills to be able to interact at all levels & be effective as part of a broader team, capable of taking broad objectives and create and execute a concrete plan Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and can educate on patterns related to agile frameworks to help empower teams Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other issue tracking/collaboration tools Fundamental technical understanding of Cloud, Data, UI technologies Ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple organizations to reach common goals Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Team player and collaborator -- Keywords: user interface information technology New Jersey Program Manager / Project Manager [email protected] |
