Configure, manage, and maintain essential network hardware and software. Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made. Confer with network users about solving existing system problems. Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems. Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases. Develop and document network troubleshooting procedures and policies. Implement and manage security solutions for the network. Train team members on new hardware or software integrations. Experience & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent. Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation. Experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
