Position: Product Owmer Location : Issaquah, WA (Onsite) Duration : 6 months contract to hire position Consultant shoud work onsite at client location from Day 1. Technical/Functional Skills: Vision and Strategy: The Product Owner is responsible for understanding the overall vision and strategy for the product. They need to communicate this vision to the development team and ensure that all work aligns with it. Backlog Management: The Product Owner maintains the product backlog, which is a prioritized list of features, enhancements, and fixes. They continuously refine and prioritize the backlog based on input from stakeholders, market research, and feedback from the development team. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: The Product Owner works closely with stakeholders, customers, and end-users to gather requirements and understand their needs. They document these requirements in user stories or other appropriate formats that can be easily understood by the development team. Prioritization: One of the most critical responsibilities of the Product Owner is prioritizing the items in the backlog. They must balance the needs of various stakeholders, business objectives, and technical constraints to ensure that the most valuable and impactful features are developed first. Acceptance Criteria: The Product Owner defines the acceptance criteria for each user story or feature. These criteria outline the conditions that must be met for the work to be considered complete and ready for release. Sprint Planning: During sprint planning meetings, the Product Owner collaborates with the development team to select the items from the backlog that will be worked on during the upcoming sprint.
