| Job Title: AI/ML Systems Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Client: Micron Technologies Inc Pay Rate: $60/hr on C2C Job Overview: As an AI/ML Systems Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in the development of new architectures and products leveraging Microns next-generation Memory/Storage solutions tailored for mobile customers. This position calls for a dynamic individual who is adept at developing and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML models. Responsibilities: Develop and analyze machine learning or AI models for Edge AI applications. Analyze and deploy open-source large language, vision, and multi-modal models for mobile systems. Customize models for performance enhancements and conduct power analysis. Collaborate with third-party application and model developers to tailor models for mobile devices and analyze memory and storage requirements. Utilize SDKs from SoC vendors to deploy models on various accelerators within mobile systems and evaluate performance differences. Conduct tests to assess AI performance and stay abreast of the latest machine learning innovations. Required Qualifications: BS, Masters degree, or PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Proficient in dimensionality reduction techniques, clustering, and classification. Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning metrics and requirements. Proven ability in AI accelerators and performance analysis. Experience in ASIC or FPGA design and verification. Experience in architecture and microarchitecture of high-speed, low-power, optimal area IPs. Excellent writing, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of dynamical systems, optimization, and simulation. Familiarity with the latest and most performant ML/AI algorithms. Capability to produce customer deliverable research reports and write proposals for new ML/AI work. Basic understanding of processor system knowledge including SoC systems and operating system software.
