The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network architecture to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. As a member of the team, you will work alongside reliability teams to ensure site reliability and that all releases seamlessly move from development through staging and into production. The Day to Day: Must have experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Firewall Analysis, VPN, Cloud Security (Azure), VPN Security, Security Compliance, SAML, Radius, Cisco (Routers/Switches/ASA Firewalls), F5 Load Balancing, Scripting experience with either Python or Powershell or YAML. Oversee the planning and execution of network projects, provide technical leadership to the team, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet business objectives. Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions to support business operations. Responsible for safeguarding an organizations computer systems and networks from security breaches, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities. Lead network architecture planning, including hardware and software upgrades. Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security measures are in place. Conduct regular network performance monitoring and optimization. Mentor and train junior network engineers to enhance team capabilities. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for network improvements. Develop and maintain network documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
