Job Description: The AVEVA AIM/Net Admin will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the AVEVA AIM system, focusing on network management, user access control, system configuration, and overall system performance. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the AIM platform to support the organization's asset information management needs. Responsibilities: Administer user accounts, access permissions, and security settings within the AVEVA AIM system. Configure and maintain network infrastructure to support the AIM platform, including servers, databases, and communication protocols. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability. Conduct regular backups, updates, and patches to ensure the integrity and availability of AVEVA AIM data. Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to integrate AVEVA AIM with other systems and applications as needed. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users experiencing issues with the AIM system. Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and training materials for AVEVA AIM users and administrators. Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in asset information management and network administration. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in network administration, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment. Proficiency in AVEVA AIM or similar asset information management systems. Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices. Experience with database management systems, particularly SQL Server. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud computing platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across teams and departments.
