Develop and implement IBM MQ messaging solutions to facilitate communication and data exchange between AS400 systems and external systems, applications, and services. Configure and administer IBM MQ objects such as queues, channels, listeners, and message queues to support reliable and secure message delivery and processing. Develop and implement message flows, message transformation logic, and message routing rules using IBM MQ message broker and integration patterns. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design AS400 solutions and integrations that meet business needs. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of AS400 applications and IBM MQ integrations to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. Monitor and troubleshoot AS400 applications and IBM MQ middleware to identify and resolve issues, errors, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner. Document technical designs, specifications, and implementation details for AS400 applications and IBM MQ integrations, and provide training and support to end-users and IT staff as needed.
