As an Enterprise Data Architect Consultant, you'll play a key role in shaping our data landscape. Here's what you'll be doing: -Gathering Requirements: Work closely with different business units to understand their data needs and goals. -Data Discovery: Dive into our current data sources, systems, and processes to pinpoint relevant data entities, attributes, and relationships. - Data Modeling: Craft conceptual, logical, and physical data models to accurately represent our org's data structures, using industry-standard frameworks like FDX. - Standardization: Set up rules for data model standards, naming conventions, and best practices to ensure uniformity and quality across the board. - Documentation: Keep detailed records of our enterprise data model, including data definitions, metadata, and data lineage to boost understanding and communication. - Validation and Iteration: Regularly check the data models with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure they're complete and align with business needs.
