Experience with FedRAMP is strongly desired. Need to have an in depth understanding of federal compliance standards. Must have experience with AWS and Kubernetes We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a focus on FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2 compliance, DevOps, and development architecture within the AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, an in-depth understanding of federal compliance standards, experience with DevOps practices, and a solid foundation in software development using Java, Golang, and Node.js. Design and implement secure, highly available, and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure that complies with FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2 standards. Lead the planning, analysis, design, and implementation of AWS cloud architecture with a focus on security, compliance, and cryptographic protection. Work closely with development teams to architect solutions optimized for AWS deployment, utilizing Java, Golang, and Node.js. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and management of AWS environments, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2. Conduct AWS readiness assessments and recommend AWS services and tools that align with project requirements, compliance standards, and cryptographic security. Collaborate with security teams to implement and manage AWS security policies, procedures, controls, and cryptographic practices. Provide technical leadership in the adoption of DevOps practices and methodologies, emphasizing security and compliance in the software development lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with AWS technologies, FedRAMP and FIPS 140-2 updates, and industry best practices. Collaborate with development teams on services being deployed to FedRAMP cloud services Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on security, compliance, and cryptographic modules within AWS. Strong knowledge of FedRAMP standards, FIPS 140-2 compliance, and their documentation requirements. Proficient in AWS services, including their respective security tools and services. Proficient in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Demonstrated proficiency in software development with Java, Golang, and Node.js.
