| From: Deepika, Teamware solution [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Kafka Engineer Location: Piscataway, NJ Position: Contract Duration: 6+ Months Description: As a member of the Amazon MSK team, you will be making contributions to the entire stack - the APIs and the workflows that make up the MSK service, the core Kafka platform, and stand-alone tools that make it easier for Kafka community to operate Kafka better. Upstream compatibility is a core tenet MSK The ideal candidate has experience designing large-scale systems supporting millions of transactions per second, enjoys solving complex software problems, and possesses design and problem-solving skills. Ideally you have an in-depth understanding of streaming data technologies like Amazon Kinesis or Apache Kafka, and experience with open-source data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Apache Storm. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with other engineers to build a large scale AWS service, and work with senior leaders to define your teams roadmap, including identifying design and code changes needed in the underlying open source platforms In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, devops, Networking, Openstack/VMware (Cloud Computing), Databases, and CI/CD Experience with Cloud Native Platforms including Kubernetes, Docker Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Understands and can articulate the technical merits and value of cloud computing Passionate, persuasive, articulate cloud professional capable of quickly establishing interest and credibility in how to design, deploy and operate cloud-based architectures. Strong written, verbal, and chalk board skills Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures Ability to work with team members from around the globe/experience working with offshore models Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality Experience with industry automation tools, like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Python, etc. |
