| Job Title: Business Analyst(IE)Location: Remote Department of Employment Services, Design Development and Integration BranchJob Overview: The Senior Business Analyst will be a pivotal team member at the Design Development and Integration Branch (DDIB). As DDIB collaborates with various branches to implement system enhancements and new systems or applications, the Senior Business Analyst will oversee the development and integration of multiple projects, particularly focusing on the Integrated Eligibility and Enrollment System (IESS) and associated Statements of Work (SOW). This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage long-term projects across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure seamless transition and maintenance post-implementation.Key Responsibilities: Oversee the SDLC process for approximately 20 SOWs, ensuring compliance with timelines and technical specifications from initial review through to the Detailed Design Document (DDD) phase. Work collaboratively with state and federal partners to integrate additional programs and manage project scope expansions as dictated by the IEES contract and other initiatives. Facilitate transition planning and monitor the transfer of projects to other DES branches for ongoing maintenance and operations. Provide leadership and direction as a System Consultant IT, influencing project outcomes and strategic direction. Develop and mentor state employees, enhancing their managerial skills and preparing them for advanced roles within the organization.Projects Involved: Integration of Summer EBT, WIC (Women Infants and Children), and SNAP LPD into the IEES. Enhancements to the Kentucky Medicaid IEES for MCAFS system, focusing on both Non Data Blocks and Data Blocks. Upgrades to OCR (Optical Character Recognition), Document Management Systems, and HealthCare Transformation Initiatives. Modernization of the Worker Portal, KLOC, and QHP Application systems.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a government or large-scale IT project environment. Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple long-term projects across various stages of the SDLC. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex project requirements and tight deadlines. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven record of internal team development and stakeholder management.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Integrated Eligibility Systems or similar large-scale public sector IT projects.
