The contractor is responsible for the planning,analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration,installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management ofnetworked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data,and/or video formats. Analyzing and defining network systemsrequirements. Implement solutions. Plan and track projects and coordinateinteragency efforts in the areas of networking, infrastructure, security andinter-operability. Defining and maintaining network architectureand infrastructure. Configuring and optimizing network servers,hubs, routers, and switches. Analyzing network workload. Monitoring network capacity and performance. Diagnosing and resolving network problems. Developing network backup and recoveryprocedures. Installing, testing, maintaining, andupgrading network operating systems software Ensuring the rigorous application ofinformation security/information assurance policies, principles, and practicesin the delivery of network services. Manage the agency's telephony infrastructureincluding voice terminals, VOiP, voice switching, provisioning, analog lines,ACD and IVR systems. Implement and enforce the agency's policiesand procedures in network and infrastructure management, auditing, inspection,security, disaster recovery, encryption and compliance. Monitor network infrastructure and systemsusing tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco FMC, SSH, Microsoft ActiveDirectory Tools and Utilities, Microsoft Intune, Kaseya, Cayosoft, RDP, andmanaging appliances including IDS/IPS devices, firewalls, VMware vCenter,Windows Servers, DHCP, DNS, and other tools as available or necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned. Highly Desired Certifications: Certification in network or system administration is highly desired, such asCCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, MCSE, MCSA, or other related and similarcertifications Qualifications: Musthave knowledge in the development, configuration, installation, and maintenanceof networked systems including local area networks (LANs) and wide areanetworks (WANs), telephony systems; and perform routing network configurationmanagement functions. Musthave knowledge of network standards, protocols, and procedures. Knowledgein network architecture and topology, including transmissions protocols,broadcasting, switching, control, and management. Musthave knowledge in performing routing networking configuration managementfunctions. Musthave knowledge in network systems management methods including end-to -endsystems performance monitoring. Musthave experience with using various tools, utilities and appliances, to performnetwork management, analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting and mitigation.
