REQUIREMENTS

- 4+ years' Scala programming experience

- Apache Spark/Spark SQL

- Data lakes knowledge/experience

Strong communicator; can communicate requirements between cross-functional
teams

Troubleshooting experience

- Terraform exp. is required

PLUSSES:

- Akka Streams data library experience

- Core Java development background

- SQL database experience

- Python

- Lambda

DAY TO DAY/PROJECT:

- Team is responsible for providing internal Charter teams with data upon
request. They perform real time data processing, preparation, and pipelining
for 40 steaming applications that the team oversees

- Went from supporting 15-20 streaming apps to 40 over the last year
