Title: ETL Engineer Work Location: Melville, NY (Local & Onsite resource advantageous & prioritized) Job Description: Experience in SAP BODS ETL design and implementation involving extraction and provisioning of data from a variety of legacy systems. Experience in Data Conversion/Data Migration / Data Warehousing projects that include analysis and development of Dataflows, and mappings using needed transformations using BODS. Develop Jobs, Workflows, and Data flows based on the specifications using various stages in BODS. Experience in BODS Designer Components - Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores, and Formats. Experience validating the ETL code and doing Unit Testing by writing SQL queries Exposure in BODS performance tuning techniques using parallel processing (Degree of Parallelism), Multithreading, Partitioning, and Database Throughputs to improve job performance Hands-on exp in debugging execution errors using Data Services logs (trace, statics, and Error) Should have work experience in different types of transformations like Query transformation, Merge, Case, Validations, Map- operation, History Preserving, and Table Comparison transformations . Should have a clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contribute in preparing technical design documents and test plans Must have skills: Create, Manage and Enhance the ETL Pipeline build in EDWH environment using SAP Data Services Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively highlighted to the management Ensure to successful timely delivery Should be capable of delivering complex ETL requirements Knows about SAP DS architecture. Good hands-on experience in SAP Data Services Good understanding of RDBMS Nice to have : Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs, how to use Knowledge of Python scripting language. Knowledge of the Sales Force backend is a strong plus Knowledge of Cloud Platform (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc..) Professional Attributes : Good communication work in a team with good spirit Analytical skills presentation skills problem-solving skills Location: Candidates can work remotely now unless the supervisor's instruction. But they may have to go to the office depending on CUSA's decision in the future. Please note that we cannot guarantee candidates continue working remotely.
