Duration: 12 months Client: Caterpillar Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and threat modeling, in alignment with industry best practices and standards. Utilize your expertise in OWASP principles to identify and address application security vulnerabilities. Develop and implement effective security measures to mitigate risks and safeguard critical assets. Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends, proactively adapting strategies to ensure ongoing protection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development processes. Provide guidance on enterprise security architecture, identity and access management, and business process design. Assist in compliance efforts by applying knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 27001, 27002, NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, and ISA 62443. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with CICD pipeline integration, GitHub, and automating pipelines. Familiarity with firewall configurations and governance around it. Application development background with a focus on cybersecurity. Embedding security practices into pipelines and fixing vulnerabilities at various stages of development." Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5 or more years of experience in information security. Proven experience with a wide range of information security processes and principles, including but not limited to threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, and defense in depth. Strong familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, 27002, NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, and ISA 62443. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Self-driven and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SOC reporting. Familiarity with cloud security principles and technologies, particularly AWS. Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
