Recognition or expertise in the Supply Chain space. Strong technical aptitude in modern software development methodologies. Experience in a fluid, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Proficient in collaborative, cross-functional software design and development. Ability to identify goals, metrics, and analytics for measuring product/platform performance. Competence in implementing supply chain solutions in Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse, and Transportation. Proficiency in managing and growing team members in a professional setting. Familiarity with breaking down Monolithic architectures into microservices via Domain Driven Design. Experience in developing on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Position Purpose Our client is looking for a skilled software engineer to contribute to the modernization of their Supply Chain Order Management Platform. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the strategy and roadmap for modernizing the Supply Chain Order Management Platform. Take ownership of engineering responsibilities within the Order Management domain. Support current and new Order Management platforms, focusing on simplifying complexity and reducing technical debt. Partner with peers to introduce and enhance agile methodologies, fostering cross-functional collaboration. Contribute to recruitment, management, and motivation of a team of engineers for developing best-in-class solutions. Lead and collaborate with other engineering managers.
