This role entails delivering information technology services, focusing on the expertise of a seasoned network engineer with a robust background in data center routing and switching. Responsibilities: Utilize extensive experience to support enterprise-grade routers and switches within a sizable data center environment for a minimum of 10 years. Exhibit proficiency in Data Center, routing, and switching. Showcase adeptness in supporting and configuring technologies such as BGP, OSPF, and STP across NXOS and IOSXE platforms. Engage in the end-to-end process of designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting extensive data center networks. Demonstrate familiarity with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc.) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers. Additional expertise in XVLAN, Wireless, and AWS networking. Collaborate with the networking team on daily operations and ongoing projects, encompassing troubleshooting routing and switching issues, crafting innovative designs, managing maintenance windows, and fulfilling other necessary duties. Display profound proficiency in BGP and OSPF, including traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios. Qualifications: Possess a CCNP certification or higher. Prior Federal experience is desirable.
