[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - 2nd round ONSITE Interview Title: Front end developer 6 months + extensions Remote: Must be local to Reston (Hybrid) 1- 2 days onsite per week Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid) Fannie Mae has a very large enterprise application in which 30% of the application is in Backbone Framework, and need to convert those pages into pages using ADK (Angular) Having both Backbone Framework and Angular is highly preferred Need to have practical experience in big enterprise projects #1 required skill: Angular, Backbone Framework #2 requirement: AWS including Docker, AWS ECS and Fargate #3 requirement: Experience developing larger systems (financial services preferred) Having Both backbone and Angular is a huge advantage! Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of Angular Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised application. Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate. Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives. Leverage Fannie Mae DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test and promote new or updated features. Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production. Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents. Mentor less experienced staff. Set up and configure a continuous integration environment. Education Level Required Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Required Skills Backbone and Angular 6+ yrs of UI development experience using JavaScript Front End Framework to build SPA application. Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code. Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques Experience with RESTful services and help drive backend development to meet front end needs Experience taking a concept/UI mockup and building a fully working/usable Angular2+ SPA Application. Able to leverage past UI development/design experience to provide feedback to stakeholder to build a better UI. Expert in Angular 2 + framework Experience with the use of Amazon web services: Docker, ECS and Fargate AWS required Specifically on how to login to containers, all apps use docker, all deployed on ecs, and fargate is used for deployment mechanisms Hands on implementation experience of developing complex Angular2+ SPA applications using components, directives, services, routing, data binding, RxJS Experience with the use of Agile practices/methodologies (e.g., Scrum, TDD, etc.) Desired skills: Backbone is a plus to have, as the client is converting an application from backbone to Angular Keywords: user interface Virginia Front end developer with AWS || Reston, VA || Hybrid || Face 2 Face Interview [email protected] |
