Per Federal Govt Sector U.S Citizenship is required Ability to pass Federal background check is required for Level 4 Public Trust Clearance - USC only Long-term contract BACKGROUND: This person will primarily focus on payroll functionality within Workday and should be able to provide support across the Workday Payroll Configurator product as needed. The teams follow a four-week sprint cycle and follow a Scrum Agile methodology. REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth in the Tec Workday Payroll and Advanced Compensation configurator, with specific focuses on the below knowledge and experience: Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM) and Advanced Compensation implementation, and upgrade experience as a configurator. Experience leading implementations specific to HCM, Core Compensation and/or Advanced Compensation a plus. Workday certified in HCM, Payroll and/or Advanced Compensation a plus. Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general module functionality. Experience and execution of Workday project management methodologies. Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities. Experience working on agile teams and with Scrum methodologies. Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes, preference of experience with ServiceNow Agile module and knowledge of HRSD. Strong analytical, research and conceptual-thinking skills to visualize solutions to a wide variety of HR needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to navigate organizational culture and flexibility on the application of best practices. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. The responsibilities shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Works with and may lead technical and business subject matter experts to implement process changes required by SaaS system upgrades before the changes are placed in production. Works with and may lead technical and business subject matter experts to analyze process improvement opportunities, reduce process cycle times, and recommend changes to bring the Board in line with industry best practices. Documents process changes, develops training materials, and conducts user training. Ensures all documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately. Performs and assists end users and technical resources in system configuration activities, application, integration and report testing, and ecosystem quality issues. Provides expertise in human capital management (including payroll) automation and provides consultation and technical support to users. Troubleshoots system and process difficulties including research and testing to resolve issues. Tests new and/or enhanced automation to ensure changes dont negatively impact the divisions continued ability to perform the Boards essential missions.
