Also, try to find someone with prior federal/state experience. About this Position / Responsibilities need for skilled technology personnel to assist with projects headed by the Board. Information technology services will be required for work that requires a senior network engineer with a strong background in data center routing and switching. REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall demonstrate the below knowledge and experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in supporting enterprise-grade routers and switches in a large data center environment Strong background in Data Center, routing and switching. Demonstrating expertise in supporting and configuring the following technologies: BGP, OSPF, STP in NXOS and IOSXE platforms Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large data center networks Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers XVLAN, Wireless and AWS networking is a plus Assist the networking team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting routing and switching issues, developing new designs, managing maintenance windows, and handling any other tasks as required. Extensive expertise in BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios. QUALIFICATION: CCNP or Higher Cert. BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
