This remote position offers the flexibility to work from your home office on an EST time schedule. Must be a US Citizen Role Overview: As our Cloud Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions on both AWS and Azure platforms. You'll leverage your expertise in Terraform and GitLab CI/CD to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks, ensuring efficient software delivery for our diverse range of applications. If you're a seasoned professional with a passion for cloud technologies and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning. Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications using GitLab CI/CD. Implement best practices for CI/CD pipeline configuration, including automated testing and monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployments. Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and scalability. Provide guidance and support to junior team members on cloud architecture and DevOps practices. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS and Azure platforms. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. Extensive experience with GitLab CI/CD for setting up and managing pipelines. Hands-on experience with mobile app CI/CD pipeline configuration. Solid understanding of Java backend development with Spring Boot framework. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Desired Skills: Previous experience supporting government contracts. AWS and/or Azure certification(s) are highly desired.
