The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our organization's systems and data from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of information security principles, technologies, and best practices. Responsibilities: Implement and manage security solutions to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Configure and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and endpoint protection. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure, applications, and processes. Provide security guidance and support to project teams during the design, development, and implementation of new systems and applications. Conduct security awareness training and education sessions for employees to raise awareness about security threats and best practices. Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and make recommendations for improving the organization's security posture. Participate in incident response and forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents and implement corrective actions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus. Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices. Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus software, and endpoint protection. Experience in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning using industry-standard tools. Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOX. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues and incidents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
