Position: API Engineer (Node/Java) Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: FINANCE/BANKING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE 7-10 years 6-8 years full life cycle development experience 5-7 years programming and system design experience in financial services or a related industry in directly-related progressively responsible positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong preference for work on technology transition from Java/.Net technologies to Node.js. Strong proficiency in API development using Node and Java, with a deep understanding of API components, and related frameworks. Experience in developing complex, high-performance Android applications with a focus on user experience, performance, and scalability. Knowledge of modern software development practices such as Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and test-driven development (TDD).
