Broad St. Richmond, VA 23219 Duration: Position budgeted through (6/30/24) with probable 1 year renewal. Both Phone and In Person interview Hybrid Position Note: - Local Richmond, VA candidates strongly preferred - Candidate must be able to work onsite as needed, up to 3 days/week - Initial interview is webcam and may request In-Person Interview if needed - Assignment to be extended beyond 6/30, possibly 24 months - Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through VDOTs Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking Complete Description: - VDOT is looking for a D365 Lead to spearhead the deployment, customization, and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects especially in the Customer Engagement (CE) module. - This role involves leading the implementation, and continuous improvement of the CRM system to enhance business processes. - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, Dataverse, and the ability to translate business needs into technological solutions. Responsibilities: - Aid in the requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of D365 solutions. - Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all CRM development related issues, concerns, and needs. - Expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Customer Service and Power Apps/Automate development. - Design, develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and C#. - Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage. - Strong experience with troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues Dynamics 365 issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes. - Manage entity ownership; manage entity properties; understand system and custom entities - Implement workflows; identify workflow types; implement dialogs and custom actions; identify when to use business process flows, workflow dialogs, and custom actions. - Create business process flows; enable business process flows; work with steps, stages, and categories; work with multiple entities; use conditional branching; implement role-driven business process flows. - Strong knowledge of Microsofts licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. - Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platforms use at VDOT. - Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage. - Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs. - Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution. - Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs. - Contribute to improving our processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program. - Preferred Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator) Fill the skill matrix below: Skill Required/Desired Amount Candidate's No. of years of experience Experience as a D365 Technical Lead Required 5 Experience with creating and managing of solution using Dynamics 365 CRM Customer Service.
