| From: Rajiv Sharma, Tek Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title:SAP BASIS Administrator Duration:6 MONTHS Location: REMOTE Experience: Bachelors degree with 7 years relevantexperience; or Masters degree with 7 years experience Must Have Requirements: Expertise in a broad range of SAPProducts like ECC, SCM, LiveCache, PLM, REACH, Business Warehouse (BW),Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), Solution Manager, Trex, WebDispatcher, Content Server, System Landscape Directory, Vertex, IdentityManagement (IDM), GRC and Gateway Expertise in installation, upgrades and patching of SAP applications Expertise in SAP Performance tuning, SAP memory management and applicationconfiguration In depth understanding of SAP technical architecture and best practices Expertise in use and implementation of Solution manager - CHARM, Monitoring-EWA,Maintenance Optimizer, System Landscape Directory (SLD) content management Subject Matter Expert in particular areas like BW Basis, SCM Basis Proven experience in supporting HANA, Oracle, Sybase ASE databases Desirable Requirements Good understanding of operational framework like ITIL/ITSM. Operations process knowledge and ServiceNow tool is an added advantage. SAP Technology Certification in BASIS/HANA or S/4HANA would be an addedadvantage. Experience or exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration/implementation andtroubleshooting with support experience would be an added advantage. Highly motivated, self-starter and good team dynamics Willingness to work in rotationalshifts in a 24/5 coverage Key Responsibilities: Implements and maintains multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAPenvironment (development, test, training and production) Designs and implements an optimal SAP configuration to maximize systemperformance and availability Installs and configures all required SAP database servers and applicationservers Administers the SAP database with Database Administrator (plans and performsdatabase upgrades, applies database maintenance, designs and maintains physicaldatabase layout, performs database reorganizations, designs and implementsbackup and restore strategy, maintains database security, administers databaseperformance, manages database storage, database problem determination andresolution, etc.) Participates in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades Applies and migrates SAP maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades)through all systems using a structured methodology Develops and maintains system documentation for all SAP instances andinterfaces Provides status reports for projects to management |
