Erlanger, KY hybrid onsite 2 days a week

Duration: 12 months + (Potential for extension)

Desired Skills: Business analysis,

Agile, Insurance domain

We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager with SAP S4/ HANA experience.

-Hybrid is preferred, but could be remote for the right candidate. Even if the candidate is remote, they will be expected to come onsite once a month in Erlanger, KY travel would be paid.

Top desired skills:

-SAP S4/HANA: client is transitioning from ECC to S4/HANA. experience here is a must, the more experience the better but no hard minimum

-able to foresee pain points, and common problems with migration to S4/HANA

-experience managing a project with a team size of 10 people

A Hybrid resource is preferred, onsite in Erlanger, KY 2 days/week, but will consider a strong remote candidate that could travel onsite monthly to Erlanger, KY.

Perfetti Van Melle is a well known candy company with brands such as Airhead and Mentos. They are migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA in the US and North America. Other regions have already made the migration, US would be the third region to make the change. The Director is looking for an experience Project Manger to work with him on the transition. The director does not have experience with such a migration, and wants a project manager with experience making this exact transition(ECC to S4/HANA) to help with the migration. He wants a manager that can see around the corner so to speak and foresee pain points and problems before they arise. This project manager would be overseeing a team of 10 people, making sure things are going well, and handling their problems. It would be beneficial if the PM had experience presenting to C-suite level people. The director will be responsible for that, and the PM won't be responsible for presenting to the C-suite, but it would be good if he could sit in on the meetings and chime in when helpful.

Notes from talking to the hiring manager:

"Im looking for a temporary PMO resource, duration roughly 12-15 + months, starting late May or June, to assist me in leading an ERP transition from SAP ECC to S4 together with business reinventions. We have already developed the global template of the system setup and best practices with support of a respected external partner and have a global resource team of ~40 to manage the operating company release waves. I will lead the local release team (~10) for USA & Canada as part of a 5 OC release wave 3. I need a trusted PMO who can challenge where appropriate, but still work within a global design template to generate creative solutions to any friction points- we do not have freedom to redesign, rather we take a standard unless approach and the unless must be material business risk or something with regulatory/compliance challenge."

Hiring Manager is looking to hire a Project Manager on a 12-15 month contract to help with the Transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA. The hiring manager does not have experience making this type of transition, so needs an experienced PM who has knowledge and experience to foresee problems, with the migration and help see around the corner and get ahead of potential problems.
