Position: User Experience Engineer Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6 months contract Visa: Only USC/GC/EAD Interview: Video/Skype Job Description: Required Experience and Skills: Minimum 7 years experience in UX, Interaction Design, or Product Design with 2 years experience leading design initiatives Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience, Digital Design, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Computer Science, or other related creative or technical fields. Proven experience as a UX designer at a senior level or above, driving and delivering design from initial concepts all the way to successful launch, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and leadership skills. Deep knowledge of user research techniques, including both generative & evaluative methodologies. Experience with behavioral analytics and UX measurement methodologies. Exceptional ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and other artifacts to effectively communicate design concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging design solutions. Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software. Strong expertise in user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate user needs, design concepts and rationale, strategies, and research findings to stakeholders and gain support and commitment. Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple other designers on related / dependent products and initiatives. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage projects in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc) and how they contribute to features or constraints in order to effectively collaborate with and support developers. Understanding of and experience working with design systems and component-based design. Experience with design thinking methodologies and facilitating design workshops. Experience designing products that meet accessibility standards and working with developers to implement accessible solutions Previous experience in an Agile development environment. Experience designing for multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet, etc.) and an understanding of their unique constraints and requirements. Experience in UI design including a strong grasp on visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, etc. Experience working on Healthcare applications, preferably EMRs/EHRs Enterprise UX experience Experience building or contributing to a design system.
