| From: Shivam Singh, Vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Tittle: MS SQL Data Architect Location: Onsite with possible Telework, Tallahassee, Florida(Local only) MOI: Video Minimum Qualifications of Candidate The Department is seeking a Data Architect professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks): Bachelors Degree 6+ years of experience with Oracle 6+ years of experience with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL 2008 Experience as MS SQL database administrator inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning. 6+ years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked servers. 6+ years of experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, service- oriented, multi-tiered environments. 6+ years of experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team. 6+ years of experience in Web application server system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint. Experience with Project Management (Standards, Best Practices, Terms, Tools) is desired Ability to work well in a team environment with education and technology solutions. Demonstrated experience with implementation projects with the following characteristics: High-profile Multiple technologies and functions Experience working in state government. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff. Deliverables/Tasks The Data Architect key deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following: Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects. Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concerns, and recommended solutions. Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate. Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed. Develops project plans and measures actual progress against the plans. Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports. Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions. Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques. Manages change control within the projects. Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the critical path.
