Please send me resume along with contact details and visa status of candidate at [email protected] Job Title- Micro Strategy Developer and Admin with knowledge on Finance FPM Location- San Jose, CA Contract Position- We are seeking a skilled MicroStrategy Developer/Administrator with expertise in Finance FPM (Financial Performance Management) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, administration, and optimization of MicroStrategy solutions tailored to meet our finance department's needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, develop reports and dashboards, and provide ongoing support and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MicroStrategy development and administration, as well as specialized knowledge in Finance FPM processes and methodologies. Core Responsibilities: Develop and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and data models to support finance-related analytics and reporting requirements. Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within MicroStrategy. Administer MicroStrategy environments, including user management, security configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into MicroStrategy from various source systems. Optimize MicroStrategy solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner. Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices for MicroStrategy development and administration. Stay current with MicroStrategy platform updates, features, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of experience in MicroStrategy development and administration, including report/dashboard development, data modeling, and administration tasks. Strong understanding of Finance FPM concepts, processes, and methodologies. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation. Experience with ETL tools and processes, preferably with MicroStrategy's native capabilities or third-party tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with finance stakeholders and technical teams. Experience with other BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. MicroStrategy certification(s) is a plus.
