US Citizen or Permanent Resident Job Code - Application Developer REMOTE Positions Requested - 1 Hours per Day - 8 Hours per Week - 40 Total Hours 3-year contract initially Comments: Low-code-dev/data.... someone sharp & bright, Computer Science or MIS/CIS background. Passionate about data and logic. Experience with low code development tools and data visualization tools.. i.e. Sharepoint, PEGA, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate. Location: Can work any time zone Must Have: Sharepoint development exp with strong API experience Develop local environment - Pega exp. Power apps - power automated; part of the MS suite that feeds into SharePoint Tableau, PowerBI - big plus Team: doesn't have a lot of Pega folks so this is a nice to have Team Size: Developers QA Data Analyst - people who are QA does dev as well;dev does QA multifunctional folks - someone that has the drive to learn new things get it role up their sleeve kind of thing Project - Decisioning Team Overall Purpose: Manage complex projects through the design, development, testing and debugging phases of an application delivery cycle as well as designing and developing components of the service as an individual contributor. Use appropriate programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, performs testing and debugging of applications for the enterprise. Provide technical and analytical input /guidance to project team and assist developers regarding project architecture and application programming practices. Manages individual projects and works as an individual contributor; is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline. Assists with definition of project scope and objectives, as well as provides technical architecture input and coordinates programming practices of a project team, and identifies resource needs. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. The successful candidate will: Translate Marketing offer strategy into decisioning logic based on customer attributes and customer intent. Develop and build decisioning logic to meet Marketing offer strategy requirements. Document and maintain development standards for ongoing decisioning logic changes. Write, distribute, and execute test cases for iterations of Marketing offers strategy via decisioning. Maintain and execute regression testing of the decisioning system to ensure consistent quality. Work closely with teammates to determine process improvements related to our decisioning platform and governance process. Maintain process flow documentation for decisioning logic changes from ideation to production through Share Point and project management systems. Consolidate information and present to senior management in a clear and concise manner. Understand and effectively communicate business requirements of projects to Technology teams and be able to assess whether the systems delivery will meet the business requirements. Execute testing of decisioning system changes implemented by IT Team (UAT) Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in computer science, information systems, data science or other technical area and/or 3+ years of Marketing Technology or related, relevant technical experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including a qualitative and quantitative skill set. Experience with marketing database, digital and orchestration technologies ex. Adobe, AWS, Pega, Tableau, etc. These technologies will be leveraged when executing marketing offer strategy via decisioning logic. Experience writing formulas and creating both v- and h-lookups in Excel. Experience with SQL, SAS, or similar data analysis language. Data analysis is required to validate decisioning logic transactions and identify trends or potential issues with the logic strategy. Experience with programming languages and logic development ex. C, Java, Python. Background in programming concepts and algorithms will be essential when translating the offer strategy into decisioning logic. Experience with Retail or Call Center CRM systems. Offers are presented in CRM systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, and Clarify. Knowledge of these systems is needed to confirm the decisioning logic is executing and presenting as expected. Proficient with reading and understanding XML and JSON transactions. XML/JSON transactions are leveraged to simulate the decisioning logic via API request with variable attributes. The subsequent XML/JSON responses are evaluated to confirm the logic is executing as expected and the correct offers are presented. Experience in Agile methodology. Experience in creating and documenting business requirements. Experience working with cross-functional teams within Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, Finance, IT, etc. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions. Ability to manage a heavy workload, accommodate change and adapt accordingly. Experience delivering results in a fast-moving, challenging environment.
