Role: Workday HCM Functional Lead Location: Boston, MA or Woonsocket, RI (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Onboarding, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment. Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday Onboarding functionality, providing guidance to stakeholders on best practices, system capabilities, and process optimization. Collaborate with HR business partners, IT teams, and external consultants to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and ensure alignment with business needs. Configure Workday Onboarding to support organizational onboarding processes, including workflows, forms, notifications, and integrations with other HR systems. Oversee the migration and integration of onboarding data into Workday, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with privacy regulations. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for HR users and stakeholders on Workday Onboarding functionality, processes, and best practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday Onboarding issues, partnering with IT teams and vendor support as needed. Stay informed about Workday updates, new features, and industry trends related to onboarding and share insights with the HR team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in HRIS/HRMS implementation and support, with a focus on Workday HCM. Strong functional expertise in Workday Onboarding, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities. Experience leading Workday implementation projects, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Workday HCM certification(s) preferred.
