Role :: Linux Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location :: : Sunnyvale, CA(Onsite) Type :: Contract Mode of interview: First Interview will be Virtual and in-person interview for the final round Job Description Linux support (RHEL/RHEL/Ubuntu-related products, such as IDM/Satellite/Centrify, etc.) Hardware install/break/fix/troubleshoot Dell/ Cisco UCS Drive best practices for operational policies and procedures, including communication, change, and incident management Establishing an ecosystem for Linux environments based on best patching and security practices Day-to-day operations in dynamic on-premises environments Maintain customer-facing, mission-critical 24/7 production services 8+ years of experience with Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu, all other Linux flavors or Windows are HUGE PLUS) Good grasp of fundamental security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment Working knowledge of risk management and standards.
