Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Resource Manager to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. Deployment Automation: Automate deployment processes for applications, services, and infrastructure components across development, testing, and production environments. Configuration Management: Manage configuration settings, secrets, and environment variables using Azure Key Vault and other relevant tools. Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or other monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of deployed applications and infrastructure. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards for Azure resources, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth collaboration across the development lifecycle. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and continuously improve DevOps practices, processes, and tooling to enhance efficiency and productivity. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud services. Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps services, YAML design and including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts. Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Resource Manager. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript. Solid understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
