You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and guidelines. Your expertise in SAP Basis administration, combined with your strong understanding of security principles and practices, will contribute to the success of the project. Responsibilities: SAP System Administration: Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including SAP NetWeaver, ECC, S/4HANA, BI/BW, and other SAP modules. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and availability. Conduct system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in accordance with project requirements and best practices. Security Implementation and Compliance: Develop and implement SAP security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data within SAP systems. Configure and manage user access controls, roles, and authorizations in compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and project-specific requirements. Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Identity and Access Management: Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, including user account creation, modification, and removal. Implement and maintain identity management solutions to streamline user access requests, approvals, and certifications. Monitor user activity, privilege escalation, and segregation of duties to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate insider threats. Incident Response and Forensics: Respond to security incidents, breaches, and anomalies in a timely manner, following established incident response procedures and protocols. Conduct forensic analysis, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to identify the source of security incidents and implement preventive measures. Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies as necessary to address security incidents and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP system configurations, security controls, and procedures. Prepare regular security reports, metrics, and compliance documentation for project stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Participate in security assessments, audits, and reviews to demonstrate compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with a focus on security. SAP certification in Security Administration is highly desirable. Strong understanding of federal security regulations, such as NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP. Experience implementing and managing SAP security solutions, such as SAP GRC, SAP Security Notes, and SAP Identity Management. Proficiency in SAP security tools and utilities, including SU24, PFCG, and SAP Security Optimization Service (SAP SOS). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government agencies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Security clearance or eligibility to obtain a security clearance may be required for certain federal projects.
