Minimum Qualifications of Candidate: The Department is seeking a Data Architect professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks): Bachelors Degree 6+ years of experience with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL 2008 Experience as MS SQL database administrator inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning. 6+ years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked servers. 6+ years of experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, serviceoriented, multi-tiered environments. 6+ years of experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team. 6+ years of experience in Web application server system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint. Experience with Project Management (Standards, Best Practices, Terms, Tools) is desired. Ability to work well in a team environment with education and technology solutions. Demonstrated experience with implementation projects with the following characteristics: o High-profile o Multiple technologies and functions o Experience working in state government o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff.
