In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WCS solutions to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WCS development, with expertise in Java/J2EE technologies and eCommerce platforms. Core Responsibilities: Design and develop WCS components, including storefronts, modules, and integrations, to meet business requirements. Customize and extend WCS functionality using Java, JSP, and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality WCS applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and ensuring code quality and scalability. Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and optimize performance. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support. Stay current with WCS trends, updates, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in WCS development, with a focus on designing and implementing eCommerce solutions. Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies, including servlets, JSP, JDBC, and EJB. Experience with WCS feature packs, including SOLR search integration, commerce composer, and RESTful services. Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts and best practices, including catalog management, pricing, promotions, and checkout processes. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Maven), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
