(Contract) Role: - WCS Senior Developer Location: Nashville, TN Client is TCS Technical/Functional Skills Core Responsibilities: Develop and maintain e-commerce applications using IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WCS implementations. Optimize and enhance existing WCS applications for performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to WCS. Essential Skills: 8-10 years of experience as a WCS Developer. Strong expertise in IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite. Proficient in Java, JSP, and related technologies. Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services. Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desirable Skills: Experience with other e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
