The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP MDG functionalities, along with technical expertise to implement and customize MDG solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy MDG solutions that ensure data integrity and governance across the organization. Responsibilities: Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for master data management and governance processes. Solution Design: Design end-to-end SAP MDG solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP MDG applications, data models, workflows, and user interfaces to meet business needs. Data Modeling: Define data models, structures, and relationships to support master data management processes. Integration: Integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules (such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and external systems using SAP Process Integration (PI/PO) or SAP Data Services. Data Quality Management: Implement data quality rules, validations, and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Testing: Develop and execute test cases to validate MDG configurations, customizations, and integrations. Documentation: Create comprehensive technical and functional documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and user manuals. Training and Support: Provide training to end users and support teams on MDG functionalities, processes, and best practices. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP MDG latest features, enhancements, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 10+ years of experience working as an SAP MDG consultant, with a focus on both technical and functional aspects. Experience on Functional and Technical Aspects of MDG (F, BP, MM) Data Modeling, Process modeling, UI modeling, Business validation- Rules Modeling, Derivation Rules and Data replication Technical Framework : BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, workflows, BRF+, FPM,webdynpro, Fiori and MDG API SAP data dictionary table and views Data Quality, Mass change and Data replication, Key and Value mapping, SOA Webservices and ALE/Idoc SAP MDG certification is a plus.
