Role: AML Business Analyst Job Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Job Type: Contract Job Description: * A technical SME to engage with Business, to expand business requirements. This candidate will act as a business analyst and subject matter expert on the project, analyze the requirements, liaison with stakeholders and partner with development team. The candidate will need good communication skills paired with technical skills in order to successfully execute this work. * Assist manager on operational work Other Responsibilities * Partner with the business to help translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional, testable specifications. * Work as a member of an Agile squad in the development * Work as a liaison between business unit and delivery team in all phases of development from product definition to deployment * Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies, and engage in negotiations. * Act as SME to business working with them on system and data questions * Write BDD cases that can be used to streamline QA and UAT processes Mandatory Skill Sets: * Exprience and understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) eco- system involving KYC Processes, Sanctions Screening, and Suspicious Activity Reporting etc. * Functional knowledge of Sanctions Screening tools by Accuity/Fircosoft/LexisNexis. * Knowledge of interpreting sanctions list such as OFAC, EU, UN, and HMT * Experience in analysis/ design of sanctions lists on large data sets and review of results * Data Analysis Skills using tool such as DB2 or Python to derive meaningful insights * Experience in audits, reviews, and assessments of AML programs Optional Skill Sets: * Functional knowledge of NICE Actimize ActOne * Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI would be an added advantage * Experience in working in Agile development environment Thanks, Praveena Kanakanti E: [email protected] https://www.linkedin.com/in/praveena-kanakanti-058816194/ www.gacsol.com Experts in Digitalization and Engineering - Enterprise 4.0 Keywords: quality analyst business intelligence New York AML Business Analyst - Onsite - Need local to NY or NJ [email protected] |
