Role: QA Manager Location: NJ Long-term contract Responsibilities: * Prior experience is setting up & implementing TCOE TCOE Responsibilities: * Create As-Is and To Be state testing roadmap * Collaborate with client stakeholders in developing long term testing strategies * Formulate standardized frameworks or develop a set of guidelines or principles that can be used consistently across different scenarios or contexts * Evaluate emerging technologies, testing tools and methodologies to assess their suitability for adoption * Select automation tool agnostic with the ability to support multiple technology platforms * Work with test automation enabling function in implementing best practices for test automation, such as code reusability, maintainability, and scalability * Provide support in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated execution * Support nonfunctional testing teams in incorporating the performance testing and engineering, security testing practices into the testing lifecycle * Work with enabling functions in ensuring availability, stability, and integrity of test environments and data * Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime in test environments Other Responsibilities: * Create test strategies for the projects irrespective of project size or complexity, which includes test needs, dependencies, tools, environment, risks, mitigation plans, and approaches * Identify, advocate, implement, and enforce the definition of best practices or process improvements * Leading/Managing a team: Plan, delegate and audit work of fellow QA team member * Provide leadership in ensuring quality of the product in all perspectives - functional, performance, cloud-readiness, security, etc. * Estimate, review estimates, and plan provided for the solution along with senior leadership team * Mentor team members, coordinates with other departments, and clients on test results and recommendations * Identify and articulate all the concerns, updates required, missing items, and dependencies to the larger group * Responsible for managing the delivery/support requests from the assigned account teams. * Experience in understanding the business requirements and prepare the Functional/Automation Strategy. Propose any automation solution based on the requirements. * Good in presentation & communication skills. Able to handle the customer calls on own without any dependency. * Good in presenting the QA capabilities, accelerators to the customer. * Work closely with the architects, product managers, and engineering teams in implementing best practices in software testing. * Ability to deliver portfolio of projects across varied technology landscape, test types (functional, performance) across bespoke, maintenance, migration implementation * Ability to report project progress, risks & mitigation approaches to ensure on-time delivery * Ability to articulate & interact with stakeholders in customer environment * Ability to report project health with supporting metrics, data points and improvement plan within the organization * QE expert with solution mindset with ability to leverage automation levers to minimize teams / projects unproductive time * Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Rahul REDDAIAH, INC. 140 Metro Park, Suite 7A,Rochester, NY, 14623 Email: [email protected] -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst information technology New Jersey New York QA Manager [email protected] |
