The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our SQL database infrastructure to support our growing business needs. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in defining the overall database architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Responsibilities: Design and architect SQL database solutions tailored to our specific use cases and application requirements. Evaluate and recommend appropriate SQL database technologies, tools, and platforms based on performance, scalability, and features. Develop database schemas, data models, and indexing strategies to optimize query performance and storage efficiency. Configure, deploy, and manage SQL database clusters in both on-premises and cloud environments. Implement and enforce database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking. Define and implement data replication, backup, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability and data integrity. Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate SQL databases into our applications and analytics pipelines. Monitor database performance, health, and resource utilization to identify and resolve issues proactively. Conduct performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to optimize system throughput and latency. Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for SQL database architecture, design, and administration. Stay current with emerging SQL database technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our database infrastructure. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. years of experience as a SQL Database Developer or a similar role designing and implementing SQL database solutions in production environments. Deep understanding of SQL database concepts, architectures, and best practices. Proficiency in SQL programming, database design, and data modeling. Hands-on experience with popular SQL database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus. Thanks and Regards!!
