Role: PeopleSoft HCM Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9488 Client: NY State Description Provide expert-level PeopleSoft Application Architect and Development support for current PeopleSoft Applications and assist with the design and implement solutions for the HCM Platform Upgrade Project. Duties The consultant must work within a designated team and coordinate with multiple developers in a technical team setting and perform expert-level PeopleSoft Application Architect and Development Support tasks including: Possess a strong technical background in PeopleSoft to develop complex PeopleSoft programs and provide technical guidance to one or more developers and cross functional team members. Perform research and provide technical direction to meet business needs with a focus on the Human Capital Management module as well as PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (Portal). Analyse and assess the need for customizations versus workaround with delivered functionality. Participate in Process Improvement work groups with customer agencies as needed. Analyse, research, and document Business rules for legacy application functions. Possess a strong background in Oracle Structured Query Language (SQL) to be used to resolve data issues and diagnose problems. Provide and implement recommendations for Security at the Interaction Hub level and user access level. Produce documentation such as technical and functional documentation, job aids as well as detailed options documentation based on the requirements gathered from the customer. Engage in migrations utilizing Phire and Application Designer Administer and configure Phire. Provide support for environment upgrade activities. Work in coordination with customers to resolve user-based issues. Assist with end user training efforts as needed. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-levelled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months of experience developing customizations, interfaces, and programs in a PeopleSoft environment developing with People Tools. 84 months of programming experience using PeopleSoft Application Designer with People Tools 8.53 or higher. 84 months of experience using SQL against an Oracle relational database to support PeopleSoft related tasks working in a UNIX environment. 84 months of experience with PeopleSoft Security. 84 months programming experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) version 9.2. 84 months of programming experience with PeopleSoft Interaction Hub 9.1 84 months of experience assisting with Phire administration and migration tasks. 84 months of experience with PeopleSoft Integration Tools like Integration Broker.
