Role: Sr. Tableau Developer Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9481 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 05/15/24 5:00 PM Description The APD project is designed to deliver an integrated health care data warehouse and analytic platform to provide policymakers, researchers, and consumers with a comprehensive repository of health care information. The NY APD will be used for quality measurement, population health monitoring, value-based purchasing, research, and consumer information. Duties Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to: Work with program staff and business analyst to analyse data, reporting requirements, business / workflow processes, data flows, and system interfaces. Coordinate with vendors, data analysts, and contractors on gap analysis and logical design. Work with business analyst and developer to perform data extraction and transformation tasks. Work with technical manager to ensure the team implements the correct software solution and the solution will meet the needs of the program. Compile reports and activity status as requested by the project manager. Work well in a matrixed team structure, often facilitating multi-disciplinary teams, translating business/program subject matter information into project artifacts. Prepare and execute a knowledge transfer. Follow department level, and division level directives, best practices, standards, and methodologies, as appropriate or requested. Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience in designing and implementing data visualizations on analytics platforms such as Tableau. 84 months experience with analysis of complex business rules, workflow processes, and re-engineering business processes. 84 months experience with data processing and analysis using Python on Linux platform . 72 months experience writing transformations with healthcare data. 72 months experience with relational and NoSQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows. 72 months experience authoring a complete set of technical documentation.
