Kindly review the job description below and see if it might be an option worth considering Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer - ITAM Visa :No opt/ Cpt /H1B Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Duration:6+months Qualifications: Focus Area: ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery Skills: Lead and execute ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies. Design, develop, and implement Discovery solutions using ServiceNow platform capabilities, including MID Server configurations, Probes, Sensors, and Patterns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and architect robust solutions that meet business needs. Lead hands-on technical activities, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices. Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance Discovery capabilities and efficiency. Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow Discovery, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and driving the resolution of complex issues. Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data normalization, reconciliation, and enrichment processes to ensure accurate and reliable asset data. 6+ years of experience in hands-on development and implementation of ServiceNow Discovery solutions. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and applications. Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and other relevant programming languages and technologies. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery certifications preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
