(onsite) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience; Certifications: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Required Experience: Experience maintaining current management project Experience and working understanding of Oversight Project Management responsibilities Possess Strong business analytical skills Experience, extensive knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques Experience performing dual role of Project Manager and Business Analyst Experience effectively managing medium to complex cross functional tasks between information technology (IT) and business units Responsibilities: Proactively manage assigned PALM project tasks in accordance with established standards from project initiation through project closure. Identify Department business units, stakeholders and staff positions affected by the PALM transition. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule with assigned resources, start dates and end dates. Monitor the Department's progress with biweekly (or more frequent) updates to the project Schedule. Attend biweekly (or more frequent) PALM project meetings. Communicate project status and relevant project updates to stakeholders. Identify, analyze, and monitor project: tasks, risks, issues, discussions, and action items. Identify and monitor quality assurance activities. Document the change management process. Review, analyze, update, and report on project changes. In coordination with the Department, monitor and complete required Master Readiness Workplan tasks by required due dates as identified by the Florida PALM team. Assist the Department with change management aspects from FLAIR to PALM as requested by the Department. Coordinate with the Department's management team to develop and deliver appropriate training to the Department's end users.
