May plan, conduct and technically contribute to projects or major phases of significant projects, collaborate on efforts with technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. Will oversee the continued operations and glass table development of a Splunk ITSI platform. Analyzes, evaluates and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve complex technical problem solutions. Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity and integration with other Splunk Enterprise. Identifies data flows, system thresholds and data sources into glass table requirements to visualize business processes. Reviews projects progress and evaluates results. Recommends corrections in technical applications and analysis. Specifies materials, equipment and supplies required for completion and implementation of technical projects. Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. May provide technical consultation to technical staff or other organizations. Education: BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical engineering field General Experience: 3+ years of experience with Cloud platforms or architecture 2+ years of experience in a systems engineering, architect, or systems administration role Experience with administering Windows- and Linux-based systems Experience with Packer, Ansible, Cloud Formation Templates or Terraform Ability to script in Bash or Python Ability to obtain a public trust clearance Specialized Experience: Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Government Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Azure Resource Management Templates, AWS Cloud Formation Templates, HashiCorp Terraform Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor System Engineer Splunk ITSI Certifications: Cloud certification at either Practitioner/Fundamentals level or Associate level Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect Splunk Core Certified Consultant Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin Keywords: information technology green card System Engineer Splunk ITSI [email protected] |
