Role: Systems(Network Security) Engineer Location: Minneapolis, MN( Onsite ) Consultant must be in 60 minutes of distance from project location with DL or any state id Visa: USC and (GC Who got in 2018 or before) Only Duration: 12+ Months Interview: Phone and video LinkedIn ( Make sure consultant LinkedIn match with resume), SSN, DOB Responsibilities: Designs, configures, installs, and supports large enterprise platforms/products from start to finish. Keeps up with industry trends and be an advocate for the standards. Leader of all phases of a large capability or set of products or processes. Ensure the quality of one or more teams' output. Identify opportunities in the SDLC, application support, reliability, and monitoring; and recommend tools and standards to be used across teams to improve efficiency. Understand and influence the broad architecture of multiple systems or processes. Up to date on evolving standards, platform features, and critical vendor and community provided technologies. Solves highly complex issues often applying new approaches. Fully understands consequences and risks of changes to the systems or processes they support. Regularly delivers projects on-time and is constantly working to make accurate estimates and deliver on those estimates. Owns the technical testing and performance of the products or process they support. Understands and can communicate effectively about the tradeoffs between technical, analytical, and product needs. Sets direction at the project or product or process level and consistently influences decision making across teams. Tackles hard/complex debugging, triaging, incident response, and reverse-engineering tasks. Maintains and influences business relationships as well as technical relationships with a growing network of peers. Provides feedback on products outside of their core area. Training/mentorship of other engineers Qualifications: 5 years of relevant experience with bachelors or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, business or related field, OR appropriate industry certification(s) OR equivalent relevant professional experience Preferred Qualifications 7-8+ years of relevant professional experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Appropriate industry certification(s) (Examples: Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto. F5, AWS) Prior work experience in a large global enterprise (1000+ sites) Azure, GCP or AWS and hybrid cloud expertise. Experience driving automation efforts. Development and architecture experience for network connectivity and security solutions Skills The ideal engineer candidates have in depth of knowledge to aid them in anticipating technical issues at the product level and make architectural and design decisions to avoid them. This engineer leads and effectively triages complex issues across systems in many environments. Takes the lead in root cause analysis. They demonstrate creativity and takes initiative in solving complex problems. The engineer will participate in the creation and presentation of technical designs. They will be a major contributor in the delivery of complex solutions. They are an active participant in planning activities and contributes to strategic planning. They can fill in holes in product/services direction and take the appropriate action within their team. Aware of the technology landscape, they plan delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple services and platforms. They influence technical peers outside their team in some areas. This candidate sets a consistent example of agile development practices and coaches other engineers to work as a team with Product and Services related to Infrastructure.
