The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is looking for a skilled, experienced, and motivated Software and Data Integration Engineer to join the team. The candidate will support State projects, enterprise-scale applications and technology platforms that support the personnel who serve the aging community or the aging community at large. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that software systems and components work seamlessly together through participation in planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing integrations using secure and cost-effective strategies, and provide post deployment support to end users. Educational Requirements: 4 years college diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering, with advanced study preferred, or equivalent technical study. Collaboration and Communication: Uses excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce technical and operational documentation that explains integrations to technical and non-technical users; Collaborates with cross-functional teams including developers, system architects, business analysts and business owners to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions. Deployment and Maintenance: Oversees the deployment of integration solutions into production environments, providing ongoing support and maintenance for integrated systems.
