Required: Digital background experience ( experience in Microprocessors/microcontrollers, FPGA design, Memory interfacing, circuit design, with some experience in Python, LabVIEW) The Component Engineer possesses in-depth knowledge of electronic components and failures modes and serves as a bridge between project teams, component manufacturers, and supply chain to ensure a design meets the project design goals, is manufacturable, and is reliable. The Component Engineer is also responsible for qualification of electronic components for use in extreme, high-reliability environments. The primary responsibilities of a Component Engineer include (but are not limited to): Component selection based on the design requirement (Micro controllers, Processor, OpAmps, ADCs, DACs, Transistors, MoSFETs, Voltage regulators, Power convertors, Communication circuit components, All semiconductors components in electronics etc) Knowledge on component selection criteria for electronic circuits Component qualification testing in harsh environment like high temp, vibration and shock testing environments Knowledge on high temp electronic components Component failure modes and analysis and providing solution for design modification Test circuit design and development for component qualification Component sourcing details ,availability, lead time etc Alternate component selection based on this existing design needs Component Obsolescence management Understand component data sheets Warm Regards David US IT Recruiting Fluxtek Solution Inc Email : [email protected] Keywords: information technology Texas Component Engineer || Sugar Land, TX (On-site) [email protected] |
