Job Description : Job Description: Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes whats being done This is for the Care Data Platform, we bring all the OptumCare data from various sources, for various markets and standardize/conform the data. Various consumers of this data are Health Care Economics, Clinical performance (for quality, risk) etc. Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3 Please list your expectations regarding years of experience for each requirement. #1 : Strong Healthcare data analysis experience 5 years #2 : Strong SQL skills 5 years #3 : Data mapping experience What experience will set candidates apart from one another A candidate who can show prior experience in all the 3 top skills working for a healthcare company such as Optum or any other major payer. What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.) We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate youre looking for Looking for someone with extensive experience in data mapping for healthcare data(Claims, provider, eligibility, clinical data sets)and also who has done extensive experience trouble shooting data issues. Very good experience in SQL, any experience in Databricks, snowflake will be a plus. What experience will set candidates apart from one another Someone who has worked with large healthcare datasets in Optum/UHG or any other large healthcare payer. Description Healthcare business and data analysis Create source-to-target mapping based on requirements Create rules definitions and transformation logic Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency, and problem solving Developing scalable reporting processes and querying data sources to conduct ad hoc analyses/detailed data profiling. Research complex functional data/analytical issues Gather business requirements for analytical applications in iterative/agile development model. Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources Provides source system analysis Experienced with Agile methodology is MUST.
